Race Information

Race Information

START The start is at Chiddingly at 11:00 am.  The road to the start and Chiddingly Village Hall (to pick up your race number or to enter on the day), is opposite the Six Bells Pub.  The Village Hall will open at 9:30 am, for race number pick-up, and with an information desk and toilets available.  Entries on the day will be taken up to 10:30 am.

KIT A kit van will leave the start at 10:55 am.  If you do not have a support vehicle, the Wealdway footpath to Chiddingly is exactly 2 miles and is ideal for a good warm up or warm down (See map below).

RACE NUMBER For this year, 2017, race numbers will not be sent out in the post prior to race day. Therefore all race numbers must be collected on the morning of the race from race registration, located in Chiddingly Village Hall, where the race starts. Once you have collected your race number (and safety pims), please wear your race number visibly on the FRONT of your vest/shirt.  At the end of the race you can exchange your number at the Kings Head Pub in East Hoathly for your free pint of beer or soft drink courtesy of the Kings Head.  Fruit and water will be available at the finish and there will also be a barbeque.

RAFFLE A raffle will be held at the finish with various prizes.  All money raised will go to Team Canter for Sight who are raising money for the RP Fighting Blindness Charity.

PRIZE GIVING The prize giving will take place at 12:15 pm in front of the Kings Head.


Jog Shop Brighton vouchers and trophies will be awarded for first three in each category: Male, Female and Age Graded 40+ (Racemaster98 Age Graded %)
